Itinerary
Flight to Marrakech. Upon arrival at Ménara airport, personalized welcome by the tour guide. Transfer to the hotel. Dinner depending on arrival times and overnight stay.
Breakfast. Departure for Ouarzazate through the High Atlas with a parade of varied and enchanting landscapes and small villages arranged in terraces. Stop at the Tizi-n-Tichka pass located at 2260 m and the highest road point in Morocco. Descent to Ouarzazate up to Aït Ben Haddou where we will have lunch facing the Casbah, a site listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and famous for the many film shootings that have taken place there. Then visit the Taourirt Casbah. Check-in at the hotel. Dinner at the hotel and overnight stay.
Breakfast. Departure for Tineghir, passing along the beautiful Skoura palm grove. Stop at the Amerhidil Casbah and then continue along the Dadès Valley, also known as the Road of a Thousand Casbahs. We will cross the town of Kelâa M’Gouna, famous for its rose bushes. Upon arriving in Tineghir, we'll venture into the Todra Gorges, which form a narrow corridor about twenty meters wide, bordered by two 300-meter high sheer cliffs. From the road leading to the gorges, we can admire the fabulous Tineghir palm grove. Lunch in the gorges. Continue on to Erfoud. Stop in Rissani to behold the Moulay Ali Chérif Mausoleum, founder of the Alaouite dynasty. Check-in at the hotel. Dinner at the hotel and overnight stay.
Breakfast. Departure for Tazzarine then Nékob. Lunch and continue to Ouarzazate along the Drâa valley lined with a multitude of palm groves and about fifty casbahs and Ksour. Stop at Agdz, a small administrative center dominated by the huge cliff of Jebel Kissane, which marks the boundary of the eastern foothills of the Anti-Atlas. Crossing the mountain to Ouarzazate via the Tizi N'Tinififft (1660 m). Check-in at the hotel. Dinner at the hotel and overnight stay.
Breakfast. Mountain crossing to Taliouine, the capital of saffron. Then we will cross the Souss plain. Visit the Tiout oasis and lunch in the oasis. Possibility of mule rides. Continue to Taroudannt and visit this picturesque town also known as la Petite Marrakech and characterized by its belt of red ochre ramparts surrounded by gardens, eucalyptus, olive trees, pomegranate trees, and palm trees. Check-in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Breakfast. Departure for Agadir then Essaouira via the coastal road. Visit of the old Mogador, a city built by the Portuguese in white and blue colors. Fish lunch facing the Ocean. Visit of the ramparts and the Medina famous for its handicrafts and especially for its woodwork. Visit of the fishing port located at the foot of the ramparts, which offers a permanent show in a burst of colors. Visit of the Marine gate and the Mellah. Check-in at the hotel. Dinner at the hotel and overnight stay.
Breakfast. Departure for Marrakech. We will cross the land of the argan tree, an endemic tree of the southwest Moroccan region that produces a highly prized oil. It is not uncommon to see goats hanging from its branches!!! Upon arrival, a historical tour of "The Pearl of the South." This visit will take us from the Menara gardens to the Bahia Palace, passing by the Saadian Tombs, and ending with a visit to the exterior of the Koutoubia. Lunch show in the Medina. In the afternoon, visit the souks and the Medina and discover Djemaa El Fna Square as the show comes to life: snake charmers, acrobats, monkey trainers, and fortune tellers will enchant you. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay.
